Figure 4-24 shows an example of a CDM-700 1:1 modem configuration with Gigabit Ethernet (also

referred to as GigE or GbE) interface in Slot 1 and Slot 2 empty. Customer-supplied Ethernet cables

are connected directly to the GigE interface, so no kit is required.
