B.4.3 Manual Configuration and Verification

Figure B-12 shows the system with Upconverter #1 configured for manual (M) operation. In this

mode, the backup upconverter can force switchover of an online unit. This mode also overrides

fault status detection of the online units performed by the backup upconverter. If an online unit is

configured to manual mode and this unit faults, no switchover will occur.
