Function Select: Configuration: Demodulator: Energy Dispersal
ENGERY DISPERSAL
(DESCRAMBLER) ON
Programs the descrambler ON or OFF.
On entry, the current status of the DVB energy dispersal is displayed. Press [↑] or [↓] to
select ON or OFF. Press <ENTER> to execute the change.
Function Select: Configuration: Demodulator: RS Decoder
RS DECODER
CORR ON
Programs the Reed-Solomon correction OFF or ON.
On entry, the current status of the Reed-Solomon decoder is displayed.
Press [↑] or [↓], to select CORR OFF or CORR ON. Press <ENTER> to execute the
change.
CORR OFF MODE
This mode turns off the Reed-Solomon decoder data error
correction circuitry. Data flow is then routed through normal
data paths, without error corrections.
CORR ON MODE
This mode enables the Reed-Solomon decoder to provide data
error corrections.
